Divine Mercy

Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Church

Divine Mercy

The devotion of the Divine Mercy focuses on the merciful love of God. As we receive God's mercy, we should let that mercy flow from us to others. About the Divine Mercy, Saint Pope John Paul said: "Apart from the mercy of God there is no other source of hope for mankind."

There are three primary themes related to this devotion:

  • To ask for and obtain the mercy of God,
  • To trust in Christ's abundant mercy, and
  • To show mercy to others and be an agent of God's mercy towards other people.

On the first Sunday of each month, and on Divine Mercy Sunday (the Second Sunday of Easter), we sing the Chaplet of the Divine Mercy in the Chapel.

On Good Friday, we begin the Novena of Divine Mercy.  Click here for the prayers.
