Early Childhood Religious Education classes are for children who are 3 years old through students who are in Kindergarten. Classes meet every Sunday during the school year. There are two class periods in which students can be enrolled: 9:00am—9:50am or 11:15am—12:15pm.
Early Childhood Religious Education focuses on planting the first seeds for a personal relationship with Christ and a love for Scripture. Each week we will talk about "Where did we see God this week?" We will learn from both the New and Old Testament and be introduced to the Seasons of the Church. Our catechists incorporate a variety of teaching techniques and centers to fully engage students.
A few of the things that we'll learn about this year are:
- God Calls Samuel
- Moses and the 10 Commandments
- The Baptism of the Lord
- The Forgiving Father (The Prodigal Son)
- Jesus Feeds a Huge Crowd
- The Last Supper
- David & Goliath
- The Good Shepherd
The Liturgical Year
- Advent / Christmas
- Lent / Easter
