TOGETHER

Youth Masses and prayer services are held three times a year.  The first one is at the beginning of the school year, which usually falls sometime around the first or second Wednesday of September.  The second ones falls during the Advent season to bring us to the celebration of the Christmas celebration that is about to come.  Then finally the last one comes at the end of the school year around the first of May.  We actually call it a May crowning and if weather permits, it is done outside at the pastoral center.  Despite these being called youth Masses and prayer services remember that includes youth ages one to one hundred.

World Youth Day Sunday is usually held around the end of October.  It is a world wide celebration of the gifts of the youth in our world.  Youth are asked to serve in a variety of ways where they can best utilize their gifts.  They act as hospitality greeters, lectors, ushers, etc.  If you would like to volunteer then be sure and sign-up on a sign-up sheet on one of the youth tables in the foyer or the youth room or tell me (Tracy).

Epiphany Players is a drama team that periodically performs short skits for different groups.  Annually they are always seen doing the mime stations on one of the Fridays during Lent.

Potluck Dinners are held three times a year beginning with Memorial Day Sunday, then Thanksgiving, and finally Super Bowl Weekend.

The Easter Celebration is a variety of fun things put on by the youth groups for the younger children and their families during the Easter Season.  It includes an egg hunt, face painting, etc.
