Liturgy Board

The Liturgy Board assists the Pastor with the planning and presentation of every liturgical celebration within the parish so that these liturgies are a source of spiritual strength, inspiration and hope. Our work supports the full, conscious, and active participation of the parishioners in the liturgical life of the parish.

During Lent, we help nourish the physical needs of the parish by preparing and serving a Lenten Meal. The homemade vegetable soup and homemade rolls are made from scratch in the church kitchen and Bob Waldrop can always use a few volunteers to assist him in the preparation. Watch the bulletin for volunteer information. We support the spiritual dimensions of Lent with the Stations of the Cross with Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and Benediction, following each Friday Lenten meal.

The Board functions as the arts and environment committee and is responsible for preparing the sanctuary for liturgical celebrations throughout the year. The Board cannot make all the preparations for these celebrations without volunteers from our parish family. Watch the bulletin for opportunities to volunteer during the Christmas and Easter seasons. God blesses those who volunteer to help with holiday preparations.
