Advent is a season of preparation where we await with anticipation the joys of Christmas.  It is a time when we also look forward to the Second Coming of Christ and his Reign over all the Earth. It begins the first Sunday of Advent -- December 3rd -- and ends the fourh Sunday of Advent, which this year is December 24.

ADVENT PRAYER JOURNEY
Every Thursday of Advent -- December 7, 14 and 21 -- we will have a prayer walk in the Gym.
We will begin each of these offerings at 9am with prayer and then you will have time to walk around the gym area in quiet. You may bring your “Little Blue Book,” your rosary, the day’s readings or simply be in the quiet for about 45 minutes. Following this, JoAnn Schlegel will offer 30 minutes of Tai Chi – Better Balance Practice. The Tai Chi is optional and open to all. --FROM YOUR HEALTH MINISTRY TEAM

SOLEMNITY OF THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION
Holy Day of Obligation
Masses at 630 am, 1130 am, and 630 pm.
The Sacrament of Anointing will be offered at the 1130 am Mass.
To receive the sacrament, please arrive 15 minutes early and register at the Marble Table.

COMMUNITY SERVICE CHRISTMAS MANGER GIFT PROGRAM
Every year the Community Service Board collects “Christmas Wishes” (gifts) for Birth Choice, St. Vincent De Paul, and Sr. B.J.’s Pantry. Please take one or two tags from our Manger to help make their “Wish” come true! The gifts need to be returned by Sunday Dec. 10. All gifts are not to be wrapped and please attach the colored tag from our Manger display. Community Service is accepting monetary donations. If you don't have time to shop for a Manger gift, we can shop for you!  Make checks payable to Epiphany (note on check: manger gift) and please mail or drop check off at the parish office. Board members will be happy to shop for the needed gifts. Thank you.

Masses at 8 am and 630 pm, in the Chapel.

WOMEN'S CLUB HOLIDAY DINNER
December 15, 630 pm, reservations required.
All women of the parish are invited. Cost of dinner: $15/person, payable at the door but reservations are needed for the dinner count. Tickets for the raffle will be available for purchase the night of the dinner. Ticket cost: 20 raffle tickets for $5.00. A sign-up sheet is located on the marble table or call Lori Fischer, 519-4925 to make reservations for dinner. Deadline is Sunday, Dec. 10. If you would like to donate an item for the raffle, call Lori Fischer, 519-4925. Childcare is provided starting at 6:30pm. Epiphany families needing help this Christmas can be referred to us by another parishioner or by submitting their own name by calling the Parish Office at 722-2110, Ext. 114 (Betty Jo) by Sunday, Dec. 10. Anonymity will be maintained.

DECORATE THE CHURCH
We will decorate the Church for Christmas on Saturday, Dec 16th, at 9 am, and Sunday December 17, after the 1230 pm Mass. We need the most help on Saturday because we are putting up trees.


BLESS THE INFANT JESUS SUNDAY
December 16 530 pm, December 17 8 and 10 am, 1230 pm.
All are welcome to bring the statue of the infant Jesus from your home Nativity set and receive a special blessing for the season.
